TEA MOA Audit

Each year, the Texas Education Agency conducts regular audits and monitoring of campuses across the state on a variety of subjects. This year Krum High School has been randomly selected to undergo an audit to evaluate the Methods of Administration (MOA) of civil rights related to our CTE programs. This evaluation will occur across 2-days in April of 2020 where TEA staff will visit our facilities, review documents, and speak to our students and staff.

The official letter to parents from TEA regarding this audit is attached below.

In preparation for this visit, KISD is required to administer an online survey to our KHS parents, staff, and students. These surveys are voluntary, confidential, and automatically submitted to TEA. All surveys must be completed no later than November 15, 2019.

The parent survey can be accessed via this link. Should you require a computer or internet access assistance, you may come to the Central Administration Office or Krum High School office during regular business/school hours to complete the survey.

Parent consent is required for students to be administered the survey. Parent consent forms are attached below. Should you require a hard copy, one may be picked up in the KHS front office. Consent forms are to be returned no later November 8, 2019.

Thank you in advance for your participation, and for allowing your student to participate

*All of the above information was emailed to KHS parents and guardians using the KISD School Messenger Communications Platform on November 4, 2019, in addition, to be posted on the KHS website, Facebook, and Twitter, as well as posted as a flyer at KHS.*
