The Barthold and Bishop Krum Lions Community Service Scholarship Application 2019
 
Each year the Krum Lions Club, First United Bank, Independent Bank and Access Bank collaborate to award four (4) scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the Krum area.

The scholarship awards are $1,000 each for 2019.
 
The deadline to submit your application is May 7th, 2019. Return your completed application and essay to a counselor at KHS.
Krum PTO SCHOLARSHIP
 

The Krum PTO will be honoring one Krum ISD Senior with a minimum $1250 scholarship to be used toward the advancement of his/her education.

 

COMPLETED APPLICATION IS DUE APRIL 5th, 2019

 

To be considered for the Krum PTO scholarship, the student must meet or complete the following requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in Krum High School
  • Must have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.5
  • Must have completed at least 10 total hours of volunteer service during the 2018-2019 school year within Krum, including at least two volunteer hours for the Krum PTO.  PTO service hours must be documented and recorded with the presiding officers.   All volunteer hours must be detailed in the attached Volunteer Service Log.  Additional hours outside of Krum are encouraged. 
  • Must complete the attached application form, including the essay portion
  • Must include at least three Letters of Recommendation (form provided)
  • Must include a current high school transcript
 

 

 

 

Krum Education Foundation Scholarships

 

The Krum Education Foundation is excited to introduce an additional senior scholarship this year – the KEF Scholarship.  With this addition, the Foundation is offering FOUR $1000 scholarships (CoServ Senior Scholarship, Janeda Peploe Memorial Scholarship, McBride Health Sciences Scholarship and KEF Scholarship) to graduating seniors.  Each scholarship has different eligibility and requirements.  Below is a KEF Scholarship Summary Guide with additional information. 

 

Please note that the essay prompts are different this year and may require more effort from applicants.  The application deadline is the first Friday in February (February 1, 2019).

Krum Masonic Lodge Scholarship

 

Krum Masonic Lodge strives to contribute to the betterment of our community and area. One of the ways we do this is by offering a scholarship to a graduating senior who best exhibits the overall qualities of: leadership, community involvement, and academic standing. The value of the scholarship this year will be in the amount of $1000, and we consider this an excellent investment in the leadership of the future.
 
The attached scholarship application must be completely filled out, include all requested forms, and mailed to the following address:

Please note that the application must be postmarked no later than Wednesday, April 10th, 2019. Applications postmarked after this date will not be considered. Our Scholarship Committee will grade all applications, and select the recipient based on the weighted combination of: 1) displayed leadership, 2) community involvement, and 3) academic standing.
