KHS Musicians Place Into All-State Band

to the members of the Krum Band that auditioned for the All-State Band. The Krum Band had 16 students audition for the All-State Band this past weekend. The students represented KISD with pride in their preparation and performance.

to senior Dalton Newcomb who finished first place overall on trombone and advanced to the All-State Band in February.
Mabry Griffin finished 5th on oboe
Addison Kilmer finished 16th on clarinet
Madison Cooley finished 22nd on clarinet
Kyley White finished 2nd on Bass Clarinet and is the alternate
Paige Welch finished 6th on Bassoon
William Henderson finished 4th on Alto Saxophone
Parker Cole finished 9th on Alto Saxophone
Ethan Stoermer finished 2nd on Tenor Saxophone and is the alternate
Diego finished 12th on Trumpet
Alex Mullins finished 11th on French Horn
Cooper Janczak finished 13th on French Horn
Sean Bindley finished 2nd on Bass Trombone and is the alternate
Nathan Duvall finished 3rd on Bass Trombone
Tegan Braley finished 3rd on Euphonium
Carter Wilson finished 9th on Percussion
Overall, the Krum Band will have two students in the All-State Band this year. Dalton Newcomb on Trombone and Dylan Newcomb, who earned a position on trombone in the All-State Jazz Band earlier in the year
