Jacy Bush

High School Theatre Director

Jacy Bush is starting her 4th year here at Krum High School. She has taught for a total of 6 years and definitely has a great passion for theatre. Mrs. Bush graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts and a teaching certification that ranges from K-12. She also has a certification in Dance. 

Mrs. Bush has been involved in theatre since her freshman year of high school. During her senior year, the theatre program was dropped due to budget cuts in Michigan. This drove her to volunteer to produce/direct a show for her former high school during her sophomore year of college. This experience solidified her motivation to teach theatre in secondary schools. 

 "I am thrilled and excited to continue to develop this theatre program here at Krum. The kids are a blast and extremely ambitious, which keeps my job fun and interesting."

Mrs. Bush and her wonderful husband, Steven have two gorgeous daughters named Alaina (5) and Julia (newborn!). Mrs. Bush loves spending time with family, being out on the lake, cooking and crafting.
